Getting around in the City
Within 100 meters from the entrance door there is an underground station (in Hungarian called Földalatti). In fact it is the olderst metro in the European continent. It was built 1896 and is kept as it was; cast iron pillars, tiles on the walls and wooden accessories.
Trains are frequent and you never wait for more than 3-4 minutes. It is surprising how easy you can get around in Budapest with metro, trams and busses.
